i'll try for your love

okay so...question:
what do you do when you have
just TOO MANY thoughts?

my tendency is to make myself super busy so that i don't have to think.
is this healthy? do i need to embrace the thoughts/feelings? or is there a certain point when i can say:
enough is enough{!}?

words of wisdom?? do any of you do this? how do you deal? any non-thinking hobby suggestions??

I'd say start reliving an experience that was awesome, amazing and kickass - really embody it, it'll probably make you calmer (cause happiness does that), and then you can try to quiet the crazy thought spins. Also, mantras work!
Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog, btw!

yes i completely know the feeling, i don't know why God did not equip our brains with an off switch.
the worst part is that thinking is usually not productive just worrisome. i've been trying to give my brain things to think about instead of whatever comes up, like picking a person and making up a story about them
i'm also pretty sure that our date in the city will help clear your head, talking about things always helps me.

sometimes i just write for awhile too

i'm looking forward to seeing you

three little words:

post-it.
note.
therapy.

works everytime.

Write it down. I'm trying to keep a notepad in my favorite rooms. If I think it, I put it down, and it almost instantly stops bugging me.

yeah kinda the same. just try to stay as busy as possible!

and you have to go to la trappe! it felt so european and fun! and there are literally hundreds of beers. they handed us the menu and it was like a huge binder!

The exact same thing happens to me. I can't turn my brain off... especially when going to sleep at night. Sometimes deep breathing helps, or meditation. Sometimes though, I definitely struggle!
PS Just found your blog and I love it :)
